Viega’s tablet holder for WC cleaning tabs is a clever and also elegant solution that provides for freshness and hygiene with every flush. In combination with the Visign for Style 10 series flush plates, the tablet holder disappears from view. The tabs can be inserted simply by pulling the plate out and tilting it. Existing Viega concealed cisterns with construction heights of 1130 mm and 980 mm can be retrofitted using a tablet holder that can be ordered as part of a separate mounting set.
Conventionally, toilet cleaning tabs or fresheners have been attached under the bowl rim. This is less than ideal both from the visual as well as hygienic points of view, for bacteria can easily collect there. In contrast, Viega’s tablet holder hides discretely behind the flush plate. When a tab needs to be inserted, that is very simple thanks to a special magnetic installation frame. The tab is inserted into the shaft and lands in the tablet holder below the water level. Once there, it dispenses its active agents continuously and in the right quantity, so the WC ceramic is cleaned every time the toilet is flushed and the room is freshened.
The WC tablet holder is available for practically all Viega concealed cisterns (except ones with low construction heights) in the form of a separate accessory set, and it can be used in combination with WC flush plates of the Visign for Style 10 series. All common chlorine-free WC tabs can be used, and the system is particularly suitable for rimless WC ceramics.
Mounting set makes for easy installation
It is extremely easy to install the WC tablet holder using the mounting set consisting of a magnetic installation frame, the insertion shaft including tablet holder and fixing bolts. The installation frame with its two magnets also makes it very easy for the end user to insert tabs. You simply pull the WC flush plate towards you and tilt it. It is not necessary to put the flush plate anywhere else while inserting a tab. It is secured by means of two brackets, and after insertion it just has to be tilted back up again: The two magnets automatically pull it into the correct position.
The magnets have just the right strength to make sure that adults can open the flush plate easily, but it is too difficult for small children – an important safety plus.
